Nuvio Guide
Everything you need to know about Nuvio – explained step by step.
1. Download & set up Nuvio
Download the Nuvio app from the App Store or Google Play Store and set it up. No technical knowledge required. Creating an account is recommended to back up your data and sync it across multiple devices. You can also use Nuvio without an account, but your data will only be stored locally on your device. During setup, you can enter your profile information and adjust your security settings, e.g. set a PIN to protect access to sensitive areas.
2. Create categories & products
To get started, create your product categories (e.g. drinks, snacks, merchandise) and add your products with prices. You can edit or delete categories and products at any time to keep your catalogue up to date. To make the initial product setup easier, you can use the AI import: select an image (e.g. a photo of a menu or price list) and Nuvio will automatically create matching categories and products (Pro feature). Tip: Use emojis and colors to make your categories and products easy to recognize at a glance.
3. Take orders
Tap on the products a customer orders. The total is calculated automatically. You can adjust the order in the cart, e.g. remove products or change quantities. Once the order is complete, you can switch to the payment screen to finalize the transaction. Enter the amount paid and Nuvio will automatically calculate the change. Orders can also be paused and resumed later if you have a short interruption.
4. Statistics & end-of-day summary
In the statistics view, you can see daily breakdowns and an overview of your best-selling products. Close your working day with a complete end-of-day report. Note: Since Nuvio is a sales assistance app rather than a certified cash register system, it does not replace legally required till management. Revenue totals are therefore not stored, but orders along with quantities sold are saved and analyzed. This lets you see at any time how often each product has sold, even without stored revenue figures.

Tip
Nuvio also works offline. Once you're back online, you can sync your data to make it available on other devices or create a backup. This way you're always ready to go, even without an internet connection. (Sync is only available with an account and a Pro subscription.)
